Food: Locally Embedded, Globally Engaged is a research and knowledge sharing partnership. We are committed to fostering food systems that are socially just, ecologically regenerative, economically localized & that engage citizens.
Our cutting-edge research questions explore territorial integration, scaling up opportunities, innovative governance, agro-ecology and metrics. The collaboration includes seven Canadian regional nodes of practitioners and researchers, and three international working groups.
Our host is the Laurier Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at Wilfrid Laurier University.
